About the SAT and SAT Subject Tests
The SAT is a standardized test, taken by students who want to begin under-graduate programs in USA. It was recently revised in 2016, and this course covers the topics and sections of the Redesigned SAT. The SAT general reasoning test contains the following sections: Essay (optional), Reading, Writing & Language, and Math.
Apart from the general test, many students also take the Subject Tests, which are offered for: Math Level 1, Math Level 2, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, US History, World History, and many languages (such as Latin, French etc). For more information, you can visit www.collegeboard.org.
The course contains:
1. Introductory videos to guide you regarding the structure of the test, pacing through the sections, different formats of the questions, the scoring pattern, and basic test-taking skills
2. Concept videos that you can watch to clarify fundamental concepts in Essay, Mathematics, Reading, and Writing & Language sections
3. Strategy videos that cover different SAT sections and mention how to process a question, solve it within a particular time-frame, keep track of your performance so far, manage the scratch work, eliminate the incorrect options, and verify your answer
All SAT topics are covered in this course. The videos are arranged topic-wise.
We recommend the following as accompaniments to this course: SAT Official Guide (the latest version is suggested) and SAT official practice tests by College Board.
SAT subject tests covered:
- Math Level 1 and Level 2
